BOBBI BROWN

Beauty industry titan Bobbi Brown is a legendary makeup artist, best-selling author, sought-after speaker, and serial entrepreneur. As a professional makeup artist, Bobbi created ten simple lipsticks that evolved into a global beauty empire, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

After leaving her eponymous brand, she returned to her entrepreneurial roots, launching several business and media ventures. Her business empire now includes justBOBBI.com, a digital editorial content site; The George, a 31-room boutique hotel; and 18Label, a state-of-the-art production studio. Her newest venture, Jones Road Beauty, is her collection of products for all ages, skin types, and skin tones. Recognized by Business Insider as one of the fastest-growing brands, Jones Road Beauty has garnered accolades from esteemed media outlets such as Allure, Vogue, W, In Style, and Essence.

Bobbi's ability to translate trends into real-life applications has made her a sought-after expert in various media forms. Through her podcasts, "Beyond the Beauty with Bobbi Brown" and "The Important Things," she engages in conversations with beauty entrepreneurs, thought leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs, exploring the habits and mindsets that contribute to their authentic and fulfilling lives. Additionally, Bobbi serves as the Beauty & Lifestyle Editor of Elvis Duran and The Morning Show while also contributing columns to Charlotte's Book, Purewow, and Naturally, Danny Seo.

Brown’s creative signature is designing cosmetics to highlight a woman’s natural beauty. When she introduced Bobbi Brown Essentials in 1991, it’s no overstatement to say that the company revolutionized an industry. The original, brown-based lipstick shades offered a simple, expert, and edited way for all women to embrace and highlight their lips. More groundbreaking products soon followed. Bobbi's philosophy remains straightforward: "The secret to beauty is simple: be who you are."

Within four years of its launch, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics was acquired by The Estee Lauder Companies, and Bobbi continued to serve as its Chief Creative Officer for 22 years before parting ways in 2016. In October 2020, she unveiled Jones Road Beauty, which quickly resonated with consumers due to its clean, no-makeup philosophy, a concept Bobbi had championed decades earlier. Jones Road Beauty has received numerous product awards from esteemed media outlets, and its hero product, Miracle Balm, a multi-use formulation combining skincare and highlighter, has sold over 1.5 million units to date.

Bobbi's achievements have garnered recognition and admiration. She was featured as one of Fortune's Most Powerful Women at their 2021 summit and named one of Forbes' "50 Over 50" most influential women in 2022. Her accomplishments include receiving the Glamour Woman of the Year Award, The Fashion Group International Night of Stars Beauty Award, and The Jackie Robinson Foundation's ROBIE Humanitarian Award. Additionally, she was appointed by President Obama to serve on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiation and was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame. Bobbi holds honorary doctorates from Montclair State University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Monmouth University, and Emerson College, from which she

also graduated.
